Championship play-off
My lad's got a ticket, and half of Sheffield getting wound up. Looking forward to premiership football in Yorkshire again, and one in the eye for Steve Bruce. Looks to be a good game.

Yes mate, he wanted to go to a bigger club than us, and spouted Liverpool....

He and Hull City Cats deserve each other, and the relegation

Am I wrong for saying I am Happy for Diame?

Agree with OM, there seems to be an obsession on here about needing to full your stadium/allocation. I was watching the game and honestly didn't even give it a second thought until I read it on here.

As for Wednesday, they were fucking awful. Don't know if they just froze or are basically shit, but looking at the 2 line ups before the game I think I knew all of Hull's 11 and only knew 1 or 2 of Wednesday's. if that. Back to the drawing board for them.

Re: Championship play-off
There was talk that some Hull fans are unhappy with the owner & also one of the Hull egg-chasing teams was at home in a big match.
These were supposed reasons for a lower turnout.
Also Steve Bruce this morning is saying he is considering his future unless he gets guarantees from the owners.

Sheff Wed had great support but they looked like a team that finished 6th. Did well to make the final but didn't really create anything at all. I'm not sure Garry Hooper touched the ball.

Re: Championship play-off
People go right over the top about empty seats. Everyone knows hull city aren't massively supported.

They were the much better side and deserved to come up. Hopefully Sheff weds can do it next year.

Worth a read if the empty seats are concerning you.

http://www.football365.com/news/hull-empty-seats-ask-yourself-why

To summarise, by saying empty seats are a bad thing, you are saying that there should be more day trippers/plastic fans etc....

Something that we might have to deal with at the OS.

Re: Championship play-off
Wanted Wednesday back up but they were very poor. Playing with one up front for 70 minutes was a big mistake

Yep..the players didn't turn up until injury time.
Gutted to see two Bob Hull City back.

Soulless Shit stain of a club

Re: Championship play-off
Blame Wednesday for their own failure.

I didn't see the game, but presumably their support dwarfed that of Hull (both in numbers and volume).
The players should have been able to rise to the occasion.

Heard the result and was gutted, I was hoping Wednesday would be back in the Premier League, proper club with decent fans.

Did you see the empty seats in the Hull end?

Re: Championship play-off
I guess with Boro , Burnley & Hull they aren't easy places to attract players to even if you have the money.
Championship will be even harder with Newcastle, Villa , Norwich & Wigan joining it.

Hull being back means we're going to get scratched by the kittens again, doesn't it?
